“ We've been meaning to visit Baba's for quite awhile. The restaurant is very cute and playfully decorated. The woman who took our order was kind and patient while we tried to decide what we wanted. I ordered the Beauty & The Buffalo and my boyfriend ordered the Wagyu Shawarma that was on their special edition menu. We were brought out our food very quickly! I noticed right away that there was very little chicken in my bowl and it was about 90% hummus. The food tasted great and i loved the pieces of puffy pita they gave me on the side but, the amount of actual chicken really threw me off. There were only about 4-6 small bites of chicken. Perhaps this dish was more so meant to be a snack? But it doesn't indicate anywhere on the menu. It really didn't fill me up much and i'm on the smaller side so i can't imagine if i was like, a full grown man ordering this. My boyfriend also really enjoyed his dish. He said the potatoes on the side were great and he ended up saving a little bit of his shawarma for later. Overall, the decor was super cute, the staff is very friendly and the food was good! I would love to try more things on their menu The only critique i had was the portion of chicken. ”
“ Great selection of very fresh and delicious food. Tasty drink options. Street parking, cute patio with great decor and vibe inside. Service was friendly and timely. ”
“ Service we had limited interaction because you order at the bar and then sit down. The individual who took our order was friendly and answered our menu questions since it was our first visit. The food took a little while to come out (about 15 minutes) but they had a decent amount of people so just a busy time of the day. The food all came out fresh and the hot items were hot. I enjoyed the variety on the grazing plate and the buffalo chicken dish was the star of the show! Super creamy hummus and the chicken had good flavor and a good crisp to it. The restaurant was super cute with its decor, spread out seating so you are not right on top of everyone. We enjoyed it and hope to visit again soon! ”
“ Recently checked out Baba's in person after trying it at the State Fair and at catered events. It certainly didn't disappoint and we absolutely loved everything we tried and the service was impeccable. Super friendly staff. The restaurant itself is very airy with lots of natural light. I love all the modern decor with hints of culture spread throughout. The part of the restaurant that has some items for sale was fun too - like a mini shop. The food was incredible - we tried multiple different things. They were trialing having the shawarma wrap sold during the week and we happened to be there on a Monday. I loved my wrap and it came with a side of delicious potatoes and garlic dip. The wagyu shawarma mana'eesh (flatbread) was equally amazing! The jibna + za'atar mana'eesh was delicious too! I honestly loved them both. Packed with flavor. Servings are decent sizes, so we had enough for the next day. I also happened to try some of the macarons and all of them were incredibly good. I loved the kanafa and baklava flavors. Will definitely be back to try more of the food. ”
“ Perfect lunch or brunch spot! Baba's Hummus House exceeded my expectations in every way. The food was incredible, with standouts like the Sesame Orange Blossom Latte, Fatoush Salata, and Palestinian Mezze Plate. The Falafelicious Bowl and Super Green Bowl were pure bliss, and the Jibna Mana'eesh (Middle Eastern flatbread) was crispy, cheesy perfection. The service was top-notch, with friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable staff who made great recommendations and ensured we had a wonderful time. The ambience was cozy and inviting, with beautiful decor that made for a perfect mid-day escape. Whether you're looking for a quick lunch or a leisurely brunch, Baba's Hummus House is a must-visit. And don't forget to catch them at the Minnesota State Fair too! Rating: 5/5 stars Price: $$ Recommended for: Middle Eastern food lovers, lunch or brunch enthusiasts, anyone looking for a cozy spot! ”
“ Came here with a friend while I was in town for a work trip and had such a great meal. This place is beyond cute, and I appreciated the interior decor and hodgepodge of Middle Eastern pantry goods that were on sale. The food was delicious, portion sizes huge, and the price point for each dish was lower than expected. We ordered a falafelicious bowl, jibnah+za'atar flatbread and batatas hara appetizer to share and everything was equally tasty and well seasoned. The hummus was creamy, smooth and I couldn't stop reaching for more. The falafel tasted fresh and the texture was on point, without it being dry and the additional accoutrements were nice additions that enhanced the falafelicious bowl. We pretty much ate everything we ordered, and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. The three things we ordered were perfect to share and left us feeling fully satisfied. This is a mellow, self-serve place that's a great spot to come with friends, by yourself or on a casual date! ”
“ Delicious food and friendly service! We regularly buy Babas hummus from our local grocery stores so we were excited to try this place in person! Our group was obsessed with the pita puffs. All of the different hummus flavors are smooth and flavorful. Portions are large and space is modern and inviting. We'll definitely return soon! ”
“ I had Baba's delivered for lunch at the office today & it's SO GOOD. I'd tried their food at the State Fair & had a great experience, so I was really excited to see that it was deliverable. I got a Falafelicious bowl, which included hummus, chickpeas, pickles, pickled onion, falafel, and pita bites. The amount of hummus you get is wild, there's a ton! I ended up having leftovers to share. The pita pockets are chewy and delicious, & the crispy falafel was some of the best I've had. I really love that all of the toppings were included, I just wish that there were something else for a little more pizzaz, since the hummus gets overwhelming at a certain point. I really want to go to Baba's in person, since all of their branding is so cute; I know their store has to be great as well :) ”
“ My version of a Barbie dream house would be Baba's Hummus House This place is beautiful. As a self proclaimed hummus enthusiast, I really can't ask for more. I will say I prefer the Falafelicious bowl that I tried at the state fair more..but the green herb bowl was fresh and tasty! I used to take really good falafels for granted since I grew up going to the best place...and it's proven difficult to find the perfect falafels since moving. Thank you Baba's for filling that void ”
“ Our beloved state fair favorite has graduated to the big time! Baba's, the Mediterranean food stand that has dazzled us at the fair for a a few years now, is a full blown brick and mortar. Officially called BAba's hummus house, it's now so much more. Before I jump into the food, something must be said about this space. It's absolutely stunning. Modern, open, bright, fun, vibrant, and eclectic! I'm not sure I've seen a better designed causal dining space in all my travels. The menu is wonderfully thought out: The beloved hummus bowls, Palestinian flatbread, wraps, and salads. Let's not forget the ever enticing specials that will for sure make you question your pre determined order as soon as you arrive at the counter. You simply can't go wrong....the quality is unmatched. Babas hummus is without question the best hummus I have ever had. I find it unimaginable that there is a better hummus anywhere in the country. And the pita puffs ? Maybe one the of the single most satisfying bread items I've ever had. The fact that both can be purchased in the to-go section and taste just as good at home is a gift straight from heaven! Oh Baba's, what have you done? You've gone ahead and stolen my heart. I should have known such greatness could not be contained within the confines of the state fair. You had to spread your wings! Now, let's talk about how we get you down to south Florida ;-) ”
